I became an educator because I love to share my excitement for writing and for reading great books and I believe every student deserves the highest-quality education. I was born in Philadelphia, PA, I have a Master's degree from Columbia University in Screenwriting, and moved to LA from New York City 18 months ago.

In my spare time I love all sports, especially basketball (go 76ers!), old movies, John Steinbeck, video games, and politics.
