​I would like to introduce myself. My name is Jeffrey Beaucar, and I will be teaching Video Production 1 this year. I appreciate the opportunity to teach at this awesome school, and I look forward to talking and meeting with all of you at some point this semester. With your cooperation, this upcoming school year will be an exciting journey.

First, let me give you some background on myself. I was born in Glendora, California and spent all my youth there. After graduating from Glendora High School, I attended California State University Fullerton (CSUF) where I majored in Film and Television.

I graduated from CSUF with a bachelor’s degree in Film and Screenwriting. After graduation, I worked at Paramount Pictures for legendary producer Robert Evans, who produced such films as The Godfather, Rosemary’s Baby, and Chinatown. After that, I worked as a freelance independent filmmaker, writing, producing, and directing various films that won many different awards. After an extended amount of time living this lifestyle, I decided I wanted something more stable and meaningful. Therefore, I returned to CSUF and joined CSUF’s single-subject credential program, where I received my teaching credential. I love teaching, but something inside still wanted to work in film. While job searching, I came across the LA Promise Fund and found it a perfect fit for myself and my career goals.
