Artist's Style

Goal: Explore artwork, find an artist that you connect with and respond to it to their work. 

Task: ​Search for an artist that inspires you, then respond to their work with writing or art-making.

Materials: Anything you have on hand. 

Steps (complete one well made and visually interesting artwork ): 

1. Pick one (or more) collection to look through and find an artist you'd like to respond to for this assignment. 

2. Research your artist by reading about them, looking at their work and practicing artwork in their style. Think about what makes their work look the way it does.

3.  Make an artwork of your own inspired by the style of the artist you selected. 

4. Take two photos of your work. One of just the artwork and one of you holding the work. 

5. Answer a reflection question and turn by email or Google Classroom.
