For Further Exploration
For more detailed coloring pages, you will have to consider using photo editing software. We create coloring pages using photo editing software because we start our work using photographs and we're building our drawings on top of the photographs themselves, pixel-by-pixel.
Photopea
Photopea is a free cloud-based photo editing software. You don't need to have an account to use; however, you can create an account and login through Google account.
You will have to save your file on your computer. Photopea does not automatically save your file. Photopea saves the file in PSD format which works with both Photopea and Adobe Photoshop.
You can export your image file from Photopea as PNG, JPG, SVG, GIF, and other image formats.
Photopea is accessible here: http://photopea.com/.

There are two basic steps to this exercise. You will learn how to open an image as a layer. You will also learn how to manipulate the image so that it becomes a simplified black & white image that can be printed out and colored.
