Hello Lanier County Elementary School parents, guardians, and students. My name is Mr. Jordan and I am so excited to be your assistant principal for the 2023-2024 school year. It has been my pleasure to be part of the Lanier County family for the past 11 years.  I served as a 4th grade teacher at Lanier County Elementary School for eight years prior to becoming the Assistant Principal.  While teaching at Lanier County Elementary School, I was honored to be named by my colleagues as the 2014-2015 Lanier County Elementary School Teacher of the Year. I also was a recipient of the Pedagogical Award during my time as a teacher at Lanier County Elementary School.  I look forward to continuing to build on the relationships with students and families that I have been able to establish over the years. Quality instruction is at the core of everything that I believe about education. I look forward to working with the school community to ensure that the needs of every student at Lanier County Elementary School are met this school year.

My educational experience includes a Bachelor’s degree in Middle Grades Education and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Valdosta State University.
