¡Hola! My name is Britta Bell, and I am so excited to be your Spanish teacher this year!
This is my sixth year at Langston and my twenty-first year in the classroom. Before joining Langston, I taught for 11 years in Greenville County and four years in Rochester Hills, Michigan.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Spanish and International Trade from Clemson University and my master's degree in Secondary Education from the University of Michigan. I love helping students build confidence in Spanish while discovering the language and cultures of the Spanish-speaking world.
My husband, Boykin, and I have been married for 15 years, and we have two sons, Brev (11) and Bennett (8), who keep us busy with soccer, basketball, and taekwondo.
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy traveling to Spanish-speaking countries, cheering on the Clemson Tigers, spending time with my family, reading, flounder fishing, and listening to live music.
I am looking forward to a wonderful school year and can't wait to get to know each of my students. ¡Vamos a tener un gran año!
