Please be aware of the following information for each grade level: 

• At Langston, each student is required to complete 5 hours of community service per quarter as apart of their Leadership grade. 

• These hours will be turned in at a predetermined date each year. 

• These hours should be volunteering in places you are interested in such as church, the humane society, or a food pantry, or another such community service. 

• These hours should NOT be done for family or for paid services such as babysitting or house sitting. 

• You CAN create a drive to collect a needed item (ie. canned food) for community service hours. 

• Community Service is worth 200 points each quarter. 

Students are asked to check their grades at the end of each week within Leadership classes. They are then required to write their grades out within a designated page on their Langston Agenda. 

Then, students are asked to have a parent sign or initial their Langston Agenda to verify their grades. 

This sequence will be graded at the Teacher's decision for 10 points. This will be done when students return to class, and is done to verify that students are aware of their updated grades each week.
