I'm thrilled about the new school year! This is my seventh year at Langston, but my 21st year in the classroom. I have previously taught both 6th and 8th grades in a variety of subjects, but I LOVE teaching Leadership. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education, a Master's degree in Adolescent Literacy, and just completed my Doctorate at Converse University. I know we're going to have a great year, and I'm excited to get to know all my new students.

My husband and I got married in 2017, and I have two step-children, Bryson and Braylan. We have two dogs: Sadie, a small Goldendoodle, who gets to come to school sometimes, and Marlo, another Goldendoodle, who is absolutely crazy.  I love my #auntlife, and have a great time hanging out with my niece and nephews. When we get the chance and it's not too hot, my husband and I love to go camping or off-roading in our Kawasaki side-by-side. I am a HUGE fan of the beach and reading, preferably when I can combine the two. I love to cook, bake, and be creative. I am also completely obsessed with Hamilton, Gilmore Girls, coffee, and all things dark chocolate.
