As we conclude this term, I would like to take the opportunity to reflect on the significant progress made across the academy and to celebrate the collective efforts of our community. This has been an exceptionally successful term, characterised by high engagement and resilience across all year groups. This success is a testament to our dedicated staff, who work with unwavering commitment to provide the highest quality of education, as well as to our pupils, whose passion for learning is evident on a daily basis. It is a privilege to witness our pupils approaching their learning with such diligence and curiosity.
One of the most vital contributors to a child’s academic development is the consistency of reading at home. We have observed a clear correlation between parental engagement in reading and the accelerated progress pupils make in their literacy and communication skills.
The support and enthusiasm you provide as parents and carers is invaluable. By fostering a love for books within the home environment, you are directly enhancing your child’s ability to access the wider curriculum with confidence and imagination. We remain deeply grateful for your continued partnership in this area and encourage you to please prioritise this in your own busy lives.
I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to those who contributed to our recent Parental Survey. We highly value your perspective as this is essential in helping us to refine our provision. During the upcoming half term break, the Senior Leadership Team and I will be reflecting carefully on your feedback. We are committed to continuous improvement and will consider how we can make further enhancements based on your insights.
I wish you and your families a restful and enjoyable half-term break.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
