Theme of the Fortnight

Our Theme of the Fortnight is about new beginnings and any new intentions we set for the year ahead. 

During our assembly on Monday we explored the concept of stepping out of our comfort zones and standing up for what we know is right. We were inspired by Teddy Cottle who got in touch with Apple after realising the glasses wearing emoji was labelled as a 'nerd'. Together, we discussed how this made him feel and how Teddy stepped out of his comfort zone to stand up for what he believes is right; this emoji is now labelled as a 'genius'. 

As a whole school community we voted for our favourite emoji and, at LPPA, this is the 'caring' emoji!
