It is hard to believe that we are already at the end of the third week of the academic year! The children have settled in beautifully and their learning is now well underway, with lots of exciting activities taking place.
Today, we held our non-uniform day in support of OPAL. Thanks to your generosity, we raised an incredible £200 and have received a large amount of donated resources. We are truly grateful for your contributions and look forward to sharing updates with you throughout the term about how the children are enjoying the new equipment and resources.
Last week, I sent a letter regarding the use of disabled parking bays. I am pleased to say there has already been a noticeable improvement, so thank you for your support. These spaces are vital for some members of our community and your consideration is greatly appreciated by them and by me.
You will also have noticed that letters for trips and experiences are being sent home. Please note that unless we receive enough voluntary contributions to cover the cost of a trip, we may have to cancel it. This is not something we say lightly; it is a real possibility. We know how disappointing cancellations would be and we will do everything we can to avoid this. If you receive reminders regarding payments, please know it is only because we are working hard to ensure all planned trips can go ahead. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

With over 900 million monthly users, Snapchat continues to be a favourite among children and young people. However, with its ever-evolving features, the risks have evolved too. From AI-generated filters and chatbots, to disappearing messages and the Snap Map location-sharing tool, it is very easy for children to stumble into unsafe territory. The below guide breaks down the latest updates, including the Lens+ subscription service and web browser access.
We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
