Christmas is now in full swing at school, and we are absolutely loving the festive atmosphere!
Our choir visited Ashley Gardens Residential Home earlier this week and sang beautifully. It was a truly heart-warming performance that brought joy to everyone there. The KS1 Nativity was another highlight this week; the children performed brilliantly and we are so proud of each and every one of them.
We are rounding off the week in true festive style with Christmas Jumper Day and an in-house pantomime performance. This is always a much-loved event for pupils and staff alike!
This evening is our Christmas Fair and we cannot wait to see so many of our academy community coming together to celebrate. A huge thank you to everyone who has helped prepare for this event, it is set to be a fantastic evening.
At the start of the week, we also welcomed a visitor for our Inclusion Quality Mark evaluation. We are delighted to share that this visit went incredibly well, with our ongoing commitment to inclusion being recognised and celebrated. A heartfelt thank you to those parents who met with the reviewer to share their experiences and to Mrs Comins, whose dedication and leadership were instrumental in this success. We look forward to sharing an overview of the final report with you soon.
Finally, a reminder that school will finish at 13:30 on Friday 19th December.

However, in the rush to let children enjoy their shiny new gadgets, many parents and carers neglect to set these devices up safely, thus increasing the chances of young people going online and stumbling across adult or inappropriate content, making expensive downloads or installing unsuitable apps. We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
