What a wonderful and eventful week we’ve had at school!
Our Reception children had a fantastic time on their trip to Chatham Dockyard. They explored the fascinating world of ships and brought history to life by dressing up as pirates. There were plenty of hearty "Ahoy mateys!" to be heard! We are so proud of how beautifully behaved they were throughout the day and how enthusiastic they were to engage with all of the activities. A big thank you to the staff and volunteers who made the trip such a memorable learning experience.
We also had the pleasure of enjoying our guitar and piano recital, which was nothing short of inspirational. From our youngest musicians in Reception right up to our talented Year 6, including some brilliant performances from children in our SRP, each and every child who took part truly shone. It was a powerful reminder of how perseverance and practice really do pay off. Well done to all performers!
Finally, we said a heartfelt (temporary!) goodbye and the very best of luck to Mrs Dunn, who begins her maternity leave this week. She is about to start a very special new chapter and we can’t wait to hear her joyful news in the near future.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Miss S Brading
Following the success of last year's debut event, details of our 2025 Music Festival have been released and tickets can now be requested. This event will take place after school on Friday 18th July between 16:00 and 19:00 and will once again be raising vital funds for Slide Away, a cause very close to our hearts and which relies entirely on grants and fundraising to offer services to families.
A limited number of tickets are available due to licencing restrictions and are therefore being sold on a first-come, first-serve basis - don't miss out! The Music Festival is a really fun event with entertainment for all of the family.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
