As we approach the festive season, I would like to take this opportunity to update you on some of the recent activities within our academy community. This time of year brings a special atmosphere, and our pupils have been busy participating in various events that reflect the spirit of Christmas.
This week, our Early Years and KS1 children have begun their rehearsals for the upcoming Christmas performances. It has been heartening to witness their enthusiasm as they learn their lines and practice songs. These performances provide not only a chance for the children to shine but also an opportunity for family and friends to come together and celebrate their hard work and creativity.
On Thursday, we enjoyed a pantomime presented by the company "In a Nutshell." The performance brought lots of laughter and joy to our pupils, enhancing the festive atmosphere within the academy. I would like to thank the team at "In a Nutshell" for their engaging presentation and for contributing to a wonderful experience.
Please take note of some important upcoming dates, particularly our Christmas Fair on Friday 13th December. This event will feature a range of activities including stalls and games and I encourage you to attend. It is a great opportunity for families to come together and celebrate the season. If you would like to volunteer or lend a hand in any way, your support would be most appreciated.
In addition to the Christmas Fair, we have other events coming up including our termly PYP mini-exhibitions. We will share more details about these as they approach to ensure everyone is informed and can participate.
I look forward to seeing many of you at our upcoming events.
Have a lovely weekend.
Miss S Brading
Important Documents in MCAS
We are aware that there is an issue with reading the content of an Important Document in My Child at School, with attachements opening only. Please be aware that we are working with Bromcom to resolve this as soon as possible.
Office Post Box and Commonly-Used Forms
In an effort to reduce queue times at the academy office during busy periods, a post box has been installed in the small meeting room opposite. Alongside this are a number of commonly used forms that you may need to complete from time to time, queuing once to obtain the form from office staff and then again to submit the completed form. These forms include:
- Application for Absence in Term Time
- Asthma Form
- Administration of Medicine
- LAT Photography Policy (for changing your consents for image use)
Please help yourself to these forms and complete where needed. Leave of absence/photography consent forms can be posted directly into the box and completed asthma/medical forms can be handed to staff in the academy office along with your child's medication in its original packaging.
Hopefully the above will help to reduce queue times. Should you have any further suggestions regarding this, please do not hesitate to pop in and chat to office staff.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
