The Christmas elves have certainly been busy this week, both in school and at home (by the sounds of it!). Preparations for our Christmas Fair are well underway, and we are working hard to make it an extra-special festive event on Friday 12th December. We know we have asked for many contributions recently, so we are truly grateful for the generosity and support shown by our community.
I am also pleased to share that we commissioned a safeguarding review this week with the Education Safeguarding Service. It was an extremely thorough process in which staff and children were spoken to, and all of our records, policies and procedures were analysed. I am delighted to report that we received overwhelmingly positive feedback, with only a few small, specific tweaks recommended. We really value opportunities to evaluate our practice, especially in such an important area as safeguarding.
This week we were also thrilled to learn that we have been awarded the Kent Music Mark for our music provision. Huge thanks go to Mr Monaco for leading this work and providing all of the information needed to achieve this recognition.
Next week, we will be taking part in another review as we work towards becoming a Centre of Excellence for the Inclusion Quality Mark. This two-day visit will involve speaking to stakeholders, reviewing documentation, and observing learning and the experiences of children across the school. We look forward to sharing the outcome with you.
The busyness doesn’t stop there, as next week also includes the KS1 Christmas performances and our Christmas Fair. Now really is the time to get into the festive spirit!
Have a lovely weekend.

We respectfully ask that you address any concerns or issues with your child's class teacher in the first instance. If it remains unresolved then your concern will then be escalated to the Key Stage Lead and/or Mrs Neame, Vice Principal. In the unlikely event that it continues to remain unresolved, it will be escalated to Miss Brading at that point.
