It is our mission that the library be a welcoming and inclusive space that equips students with skills needed for lifelong learning. This learning space will promote reading, creativity, imagination, inquiry and critical thinking skills. We want students to be able to explore their interests and gifts while developing discernment as they interact with ideas and information.

Mrs. Van Hemert loves camping, swimming, biking, hiking, baking, and playing board games. Oh, and she loves to read, of course! Mrs. Van Hemert is married and has three sons.
