Accessibility/Special Needs Consideration

Public schools must ensure, to the maximum extent appropriate, that students with disabilities are educated with students who are nondisabled. Local district policies govern these considerations and should be included in the course syllabus for the students' information.  This is a required syllabus element and these policies should reflect local district policy. 

College Now classes, taught by high school instructors at the high school would follow a student’s IEP and/or 504 plan in place in K-12. These are established, supported, and/or processed by the school’s official office/staff that over see this process in K-12.
