Welcome to History at Lane Community College 

Hello Students,

My name is Joe Escobar and I teach a variety of history classes at Lane Community College.  I've been an instructor since 1989, and you will find that I enjoy teaching and working with students.  I’m using these web pages to give prospective students some information relevant to my courses. All courses in the United States History sequence, HST201, HST202, and HST203 meet the LCC AAOT & ASOT-CS Cultural Literacy requirement for graduation.
