Academic Program Review (APR) at Lane is a faculty-led collaboration with staff and administration focused on 5-year continuous improvement cycles. Organized around faculty inquiry, APR is aimed at systematically and critically assessing Lane’s programs for effectiveness, providing a mechanism to evaluate proposed changes, and contributing productively to Lane's planning and resource allocation system.

The ATC provides support and instruction in academic technology.

Academic and Tutoring Services provides individualized support to students.

CCPD  addresses the evolving needs and changing demographics of the college’s student, staff, and community populations through professional development in diversity, equity, inclusion, and social justice.

The Employee Wellness Program provides opportunities for Lane employees and their family members to foster health and well-being in all dimensions of wellness including physical, mental, emotional, social, intellectual and environmental health; hence "Life in the Wellness Lane" is our motto.

Faculty Professional Development at Lane offers all faculty members the opportunity to explore their professional interests; reflect upon and experiment with new pedagogical skills, strategies, and approaches; and strengthen connections with colleagues at and beyond the college. Along with supporting faculty sabbaticals, conference/course attendance, and professional memberships, FPD supports Faculty Connections, orientation and mentoring program for new faculty; Faculty Inquiry Groups; classroom observations; and an Inclusive Teaching Events series, which includes brown bags, panels, speakers, workshops, and online pedagogical resources for faculty. FPD is unique in that it is led by faculty, for faculty.

Guided Pathways is a strategic priority and a framework through which the college will redesign its processes and practices to center the student experience. For the 2020-21 Academic Year, our priorities are for students entering Lane for Fall 2021 to identify their academic starting point via a Directed Self Placement (DSP) system, select their first term courses based on a program map, and customize their individual academic plan in an FYE course.

The Honors Program expands and enriches educational opportunities for students who are highly motivated and have the potential to be high-achieving. It also creates a space for faculty to pilot innovative approaches to teaching.

Lane’s instructional designers assist faculty in designing, developing, and delivering Distance Education courses.

The Institute for Sustainable Practices works toward realizing Lane's core value of sustainability by integrating sustainability into the college curriculum and college operations.

The Library provides instruction and support for information literacy for students and faculty, curates the College's collection of online and print resources, and promotes expression, curiosity, and inquiry.

OER encourages the use of openly licensed, free, or low-cost educational resources to increase college affordability for students.

Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) has hosted a variety of Lane events and partnered with other community colleges to support and leverage faculty engagement in SoTL. The SoTL program hosts a series of seminars that guide faculty through the process of developing areas of productive inquiry, engaging in literature review and using collaboration tools, and building toward implementation of research-validated curriculum improvements. In addition, the SoTL program facilitates presentations and support for SoTL work by Lane faculty and guests, including support for securing local and cross-college grant-funding.
