Organization, It's as Easy as 1,2,3

You open your locker and hope nothing falls out. You know you did your homework, but you can't find it anywhere. You just found the permission slip you were supposed to have signed 2 weeks ago in the bottom of your backpack...sound familiar?

Awesome Notebooks & Binders

Use separate notebooks for each subject, or divide subjects in the same notebook with color coded tabs. Make sure you have space in each section for:
- notes
- handouts
- homework assignments
- quizzes and tests
- You might even want to use one folder to put all of your homework assignments in. This way you only need to take home 1 folder and the books/notes you need to complete each assignment.

Backpacking 101

Clean out your backpack regularly (once a week is good) to keep it clean and find any items you may have missed.
Take out the items you know you will need to take home for homework and put them in your backpack as you go through your day. This way you don't have to scramble at the end of the day to find everything.
Once you have finished your homework, put everything you need for school the next day in your backpack and have it ready by the door...this way you won't have to rush around in the morning looking for things you need.

Your Locker-A clutter free zone

No one expects you to be Mr. or Miss Clean when it comes to your locker. However, having a neat locker will help you make the most of the time you have between classes and can actually make you less stressed.
Give loose papers a proper place - do not let them wander about in your locker!
Remove any trash or food - the last thing you need is an infestation of ants!
Arrange notebooks and books so they can easily be reached.
Get a cup or a box for pens and pencils, they can tend to slip and fall and clutter up your shelves.
