Role of a Counselor

  • Behavior modification

  • Attendance counseling

  • Advocate for student's academic needs

  • Provide resources for homeless and foster students

  • Provide community resources for all families

  • Collaborate and support teachers, parents, & school administrators for student success

  • Promote and support student's academic, personal/social, and emotional well being
