The first time logging into Canvas as a parent needs to be through a web browser, so you can set up your account. If you have not yet gone through the process of setting your account password, you can find instructions on how to do so here: Logging into Canvas using a web browser.

Canvas offers a specific Canvas Parent app which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

3. Search for lcds

Searching for either "LCDS" or "Lancaster Country Day School" will find LCDS in the list of schools.
Tap on the Lancaster Country Day School - Parent option to continue logging in.
4. Enter your lcds username and password

This username is the same username you use for My Backpack (and previously used for CORE).
The password is specific to Canvas and is what you created when you setup your account in a web browser.

You should now see the Canvas Dashboard with all of your child's courses. If you have more than one child enrolled at LCDS, you can switch between them by tapping on their names at the top of the screen.
