what is msc?

Media Studies & Communications (MSC) is a Small Learning Community on the J.P. McCaskey High School Campus. Students in MSC study in broadcasting, production, and film and are responsible for producing the WMCC "Tornado Alert" Morning Show, which airs the daily news for the high school campus.

MSC Mission Statement

The McCaskey Campus Media Studies & Communications Small Learning Community exists to foster a hands-on environment of teaching and learning which integrates state-of-the-art technology as a tool for discovering the truth and forming a perspective on the human condition while maintaining the integrity of the story. We will train students to be responsible, global citizens and life-long learners who will make ethical distinctions in a rapidly-changing media culture.
