Lamp Post Sensory School Mission

The Lamp Post Sensory School lights the way towards sensory-based, joyful learning because every child has a gift to share with their community.

Our school will utilize sensory integration theory and developmental methods to build foundational skills for learning. Our curriculums will be based on functional academics and our programs will be experiential in order to build life-long skills for empowered adulthood.

What Are the Requirements to Attend?

As the school grows, these requirements may change. Many things we can be flexible on, but may depend on the makeup of the class. For now, these are requirements:

  • Ages 9 to 11

  • Can toilet independently.

  • Can walk up and down stairs independently.

  • Does not need to know how to read or write.

  • Has some verbal skills.

Let us know more about your student. This will help us determine if Sensory School is a good fit, but we will also keep you in the loop on future sensory school developments and any future openings.
