Our Story

Lamppost Artists was founded by performer and agent Richard Filby after years of working within the international street arts and circus community.

Having travelled extensively, performed in diverse environments and built relationships with artists, organisers and festivals across multiple countries, Richard recognised the need for a booking agency that combined personal industry knowledge with a genuine appreciation for live performance.

Lamppost Artists was created to bridge the gap between talented performers and event organisers seeking high-quality entertainment. Rather than offering an overwhelming catalogue of acts, we focus on building relationships and connecting the right artist with the right event.
