Michelle Collins, Special Education Inclusion Teacher - Team Lead
Welcome! This is my 13th year in education, and my absolute heart and passion belong to Special Education. As Team Lead, my mission is simple: to make sure every single child gets whatever they need to feel supported, confident, and loved.
At home, I’m a proud mom of three—and so proud that my two sons have committed to joining the military after high school! When I’m not at school or actively involved at my church, you might catch me singing (I’ve been told I sound just like Ursula from The Little Mermaid!). I’m so blessed to be working alongside you and your child this year!
Katie Beshore, Special Education Inclusion Teacher
I am proud to serve as a Special Education Inclusion Teacher at TCE. I am board-certified in Special Education Inclusion through NASET and hold certifications in both General Elementary and K-12 Special Education. My mission each day is to advocate for my students and build an environment where every child truly belongs.
Serena Tinker, Special Education Inclusion Teacher
As a mom to four, grandma to two, and a 16-year teaching veteran, I run my classroom with a whole lot of love and a solid set of expectations. If I can grow a garden, I can certainly help your child grow! I’m looking forward to a wonderful year of learning, laughter, and high standards together.

I have wanted to be a teacher my whole adult life and finally, after becoming Army Retired I have this most excellent privilege. Leah Lambert, Dyslexia Therapist
This is my 29th year in education! I am a Certified Academic Language Therapist, CALT, and teaching dyslexia is my passion.
I’m married and spend my Friday nights in the stands cheering on my son and the Badger football team. I love reading and love to help my students thrive. I can't wait for a fantastic year!
Jennifer Diaz-Ruby, Licensed School Psychologist
I’m entering my 9th year as a school psychologist, though my heart has been in education for 16 years—starting as a para, then teaching Pre-K and Kinder! With dual degrees in Psychology and Kinesiology, I’m passionate about helping students thrive mentally, emotionally, and academically. (And yes, my office is strictly powered by sticky notes—lined paper need not apply!)
When I’m not supporting students, you can find me volunteering, geeking out at Comic-Con, or playing bass clarinet with the Temple College Symphonic Band. I can't wait to work alongside your child this year!

District Special Education Policy & Mission
In alignment with the Lampasas Independent School District, the Department of Special Services is committed to serving the needs of students with disabilities within the least restrictive environment. LISD policy emphasizes building collaborative working relationships among campuses, families, and community partners to help every student reach their maximum potential. To achieve this, the district provides a comprehensive range of instructional methodologies and specialized settings—all led by specially trained staff designed to support full access to the general education curriculum.
The Special Education Information Center (SPEDTex) provides resources and interactive features for increasing family awareness of disabilities and special education processes, with the goal of improving partnerships between schools and families.
