Welcome to Hanna Springs!

As a former Lampasas High School graduate, I feel privileged to be able to work for Lampasas ISD. As I begin my fourteenth year in LISD, I am overjoyed to be the principal of Hanna Springs!

I am so proud that my children have been educated by the Lampasas school system. Kaitlyn (18) just graduated from LHS this past year and Braxton (15) is a 9th grader at LHS.

My journey as an educator began when I graduated from Baylor University with my B.S. in Elementary Education in 2001. I began teaching while pursuing my M.S.E. in Guidance and Counseling at Baylor, which I completed in 2003. After four and a half years in the elementary classroom and another four and a half years as a K-12 counselor, I completed my Principal Certification. I was the Hanna Springs assistant principal for nine years and this is my fourth year as principal. This is my twenty-second year in education, and I absolutely love it!

Hanna Springs students and staff are like a big family that I am so excited to be part of. We have driven teachers, staff, students and parents who partner together to achieve success! "Where Everybody is Somebody" is our theme for this school year, and I can’t wait to experience the BIG things that we will achieve together!

I am a former Lampasas High School graduate, and nothing makes me happier than giving back to the district that gave so much to me. This school year begins my 19th year in education, and it seems like only yesterday I was a brand new teacher!

I've been married to my husband, Steve for 20 years, and we have three children, Tyler (23), Lane (19), and Hannah (15).

My journey began in 2003, when I graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Education. My very first classroom was in Hanna Springs Elementary, where I taught fourth grade. In 2013, I became the RtI (Response to Intervention) Coordinator at Hanna Springs Elementary, and graduated with a Master's Degree in Education Administration in the spring of 2014. In 2017, I became an Instructional Specialist for Lampasas ISD, and worked on the Hanna Springs campus. This is my fourth year as an Assistant Principal, and I can't be more excited!

Hanna Springs has always been "home", and I'm blessed to be a part of the family. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or want to learn more about our wonderful campus!
