Info Meeting + Vocal Audition Part 1: August 10th, 2026- Monday @ 4pm MHHS Theater
Each vocal part will learn their harmony for "Way Down Hadestown" and then we will put you in SATB groups to see if you can sing in harmony with others.
Soprano: High Female Voices (not that high for this show) sing the top note in the group "Persephone, Fates, and Workers"
Alto: Medium/Low Female Voices sing the bottom note in the group "Persephone, Fates, and Workers"
Tenor: High Male Voices sing the top note in "Hermes & Workers"
Baritone/Bass: Medium/Low Male Voices sing the bottom note in "Hermes Workers"
***If you need help knowing what voice part you should sing, we can help you at the beginning of auditions. We might try to balance out voices and assign you to a voice part. There is a chance that some female voices will need to sing the tenor part, and that is okay! ***

Dance Auditions & Harmony Test - August 12, 2026 -Wednesday @ 4pm MHHS Theater
Students will perform the dance & group song they learned on 8/10 (in small groups)
Callbacks (by invitation only) August 13, 2026 - Thursday 4pm MHHS Theater
Materials will be given to those called back at a later date.
Cast List will be released 8/14 in the Late Evening
All auditioners will be notified by email & the cast list will be posted on this webpage.
Those who are not cast in the show will also be notified via email.
