Our worship services are pretty casual. Some people dress up a bit, while many others simply wear jeans and a t-shirt. Our belief is that God cares much more about the condition of our hearts than our external appearance. If you join us for a service, please feel free to dress however you feel comfortable.

Lamar Street Baptist Church exists to live for Christ, as Christ lives through us, while loving all. 

We seek to know Christ through Sunday and Wednesday Church Activities, and involvement in community events throughout the week.  Additionally, we seek to equip men, women, teenagers, and children with tools for personal Bible Study.  Knowing Christ is not a once-a-week (or three-times-a-week!) event, but a lifestyle. 

We seek to make Christ known by giving to state and global missions, through our annual Lamar Street Pumpkin Patch, and other service projects throughout the year.

We believe Salvation is a gift available to all who will hear and receive Christ as their Savior.  We invite you join us Sunday Mornings, Wednesday Nights, or at any of our events.  Come hear, believe, and know the Lord Jesus, then join us in sharing this Good News to our city and our world.
