STUDENT-LED TRANSITION PROGRAMS

Military Ambassadors

Sponsored by the school’s military point of contact, Denise Ladner, and supported by school counselors, Stephanie Querns and Maryann Lambeth, the school offers a Military Ambassador peer support program to help new students transition and become familiar with campus, staff, and events.
Student organizations are dedicated to making military students feel welcomed and have all the support they need. Upon arrival, a student Military Ambassador will:
1. Meet with the student, family, and counselor (website and support shared with families)
2. Give students a tour around campus
3. Check-ins will be scheduled to answer questions or concerns
