Meet the Librarian

My name is Marissa Buzzard and I am the librarian at Lamar High School. This is my fourth year as a librarian, but I have been working in education for the past seven years. I graduated from Pittsburg State University with a Bachelors of Science in English Education in 2018. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Clayton, and we have a daughter named LJ and a little boy that will be joining us this December. We have one dog, Milo, a black lab. When I am not spending time with my family, you can find me reading, crafting, or planning my next vacation. I am so excited to hear about all of the good books you are reading this year and look forward to serving our school!
