Mrs. Jannie Zgoda

Hi! I'm Mrs. Zgoda, and I am thrilled to be the chorus and theatre director here at Lamar County High School. I am from Griffin, Ga and I am happily married to my husband, Justin, who shares a love for musicals and travel. When we are not off on an adventure we are home with our two cats Cedar and Cypress. 

With a passion for choral music and musical theatre that spans over many years, I am dedicated to inspiring and nurturing the musical talents of our students. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Music Education from Columbus State University- Schwob School of Music Conservatory, where I developed a deep appreciation for the power of music in enriching lives. 

My teaching philosophy centers on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where every student can discover their talent and express themselves through music and theatre. I believe in the transformative power of performance, fostering teamwork, discipline, and creativity among students.
