Palazzo Marino is a 16th century villa located in Piazza della Scala, in the centre of Milan, Italy. It is currently the seat of Milan's city hall.
Palazzo Marino is the political heart of Milan, as it is the seat of its city hall. The palaceis named after Tommaso Marino, a banker who commissioned architect Galeazzo Alessi to erect the building between 1553 and 1558. Its courtyard is adorned with numerous statues, trophies and festoons. The ground floor of Palazzo Marino hosts the “Sala dell’Alessi”, which boasts magnificent stuccos and frescoes.
