Saint Carpoforo Church

Carpoforo is a beautiful ancient church located in the Brera district.

Originally it was a temple dedicated to the goddess Vesta, then it became a church dedicated to Saint Carpofoto.  It was deconsecrated in the 18000s and is now used by the nearby Academy of Fine Arts, which offers interesting lessons and courses.

Over the years it has never really been affected by considerable renovation plans; for this reason, the inside is a bit deteriorated.

Still, this church continues to house beautiful art exhibitions.
