The Jamaica Bar was founded in 1911; since then, it has always been a meeting point for intellectuals. Mussolini and Hemingway could be counted among the place's regulars. The name was given by the famous musician Confalonieri, and it was inspired by the title of the English movie "Jamaica Inn". It is located in the centre of the district and it has always been the perfect place for Milanese to have a typical italian "aperitivo time".
