Casa Morigi

Why should a simple building like this be an interesting place to visit while on our tour?  Even if it looks like a brand new building, it was actually built in the 1400s by a wealthy family named Morigi. The tallest part of the house is what remains of the medieval tower, and, together with Gorani Tower, it's basically the only medieval tower, that has survived in the whole city.

You may not know that in Italy during the Middle Ages the wealthiest families wanted to show off their wealth, and they decided that the best way to do that was to build towers. The family that had the highest tower in the city was definitely the winner and probably the most respectable in the society.
