A school-based program that uses bilingual books in Spanish and English. Spanish-speaking parents can read with their kids in Spanish, and their kids, who are often learning English at a faster rate than their parents, can read in English and practice the new vocabulary offered at the back of each book. CARC Lead Program At CARC, we offer a Lead Safe Home Remediation Program that helps renovate homes that have lead in them. Our outreach workers go to the clients home and check to see if there are indications of lead in the home. If there is, we bring in a risk assessor and then work with our contractor to make the home lead safe. To qualify one has to fall under the income guidelines.
