You will need a library card. If you do not have one, you can call or email the library to sign up for one (see the library’s website). You will be able to use it right away. Do not worry if you owe any fines. You will still be able to get books until the library reopens.
To Set Up Hoopla on your Chromebook:
Use this link (Hoopla App) to download the Hoopla extension to your Chromebook.
Go to the Lakewood Public Library's website.
Click on the white Collections tab at the top of the page. A list will appear. Click on Hoopla.
The first time you use Hoopla you will need to enter your email address and a password. You can use your home or school email whichever you prefer. The password is one you are making up. You might want to make it the same as the password you use for your computer so it is easy to remember.
Then you will need to choose a library. Choose the Lakewood library.
Next, it will ask you for your library card number. Enter all numbers and letters carefully.
You are in!
