Career Center

The Montcalm Area Career Center (MACC) is a secondary career and technical education school serving juniors and seniors in the seven districts of Montcalm County. Students have the opportunity to enroll in one of ten programs using the latest technology and state-of-the-art equipment. The MACC has formed partnerships with various community colleges and universities to offer students college credits that build the foundation for higher education.

In the Fall of their 10th grade year, students will have an opportunity to learn about the Career Center and visit a few programs that interest them. Students can attend the Career Center in 11th and/or 12th grade.

Each semester that a student earns a passing grade in a Career Center class will earn them 1.5 credits.

Taking a Career Center class during 12th grade can provide 0.5 credits of Math each semester. This will come as a separate grade.
