Hello! My name is Shannon Haring, formerly Shannon Dann. I have taught for Lakeview Schools for 13 years now... I began my teaching career at Cortland Elementary, transitioned to Bazetta Elementary and now I am at our new amazing PK-8 building. I am currently working as an Intervention Specialist in first and third grade. I received my Bachelor's Degree in Special Education from Kent State University in 2005 and my Master's Degree in Reading Specialization, also from Kent State University, in 2010. I continue to supplement my personal education through a variety of professional development opportunities.
I got married at the beginning of December. My husband and I will be building a new home here in lovely Cortland this spring.
I have been teaching for 24 years. I earned my bachelor’s degree from Youngstown State University and completed my special education coursework through Notre Dame College in Cleveland. In addition to my years teaching at Lakeview, I have taught at Auburn Community School District in Auburn, Illinois, Grand Valley Local Schools, and Buckeye Local Schools.
My husband is a teacher at Joseph Badger Local schools. We have two children, Ethan and Hannah. We enjoy watching them in all of their extra curricular activities including XC, volleyball, basketball, and track. In my free time, I love to read.
My name is Taylor Pishotti and I am an Intervention Specialist at Lakeview Elementary School. I have worked in Kindergarten, 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade classrooms and I enjoy every minute of it. I graduated from Lakeview myself in 2009. I completed my undergraduate degree at Youngstown State University in 2014 and my master's degree in 2016 at Capella University.
While my main purpose in the classroom is to support students with disabilities, that is not my only responsibility within the regular education classroom. In the regular education classroom I co-teach with the general education teacher which includes teaching lessons, assessments, grading, working with small groups, and assisting students.
I am fortunate enough to work with a great team of teachers here at Lakeview Elementary School and I look forward to seeing children grow throughout the school year. Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns regarding your child.
