Earth and Space Science incorporates chemistry, physics, and environmental science, and introduces students to key concepts, principles, and theories within geology. Emphasis is on the building blocks of the lithosphere and Earth characteristics that can be used to determine varying geologic processes and the history of Earth. The course also includes Earth systems and Earth’s place in the universe. This course satisfies the Ohio Core Science graduation requirements.
-Writing utensils (preferably pencils)
-One 1" binder OR 1.5" binder
-section dividers if you like to organize your papers
-Folder dedicated to Earth & Space Science
-Composition notebook dedicated to Earth & Space Science (if testing with the intervention specialist, you will not need one)
-Scientific calculator - the one you use for math is fine
-We will occasionally use colored pencils - there will be some in class
-Other supplies for activities or projects my be requested
