I am Mrs. Kurowski.  I have been a teacher for 28 years and have been at Lakeview for 20 years.  I live in Cottonwood with my family.  My husband, Michael, works at SMSU.  My daughter, Kayla, is finishing college in Moorhead to be a music teacher.  Kyle is starting his 2nd year at SDSU to be an engineer.  Ben is a 10th grader who loves soccer, video games, and telling jokes.  We have a 6 year old dog named Loki who likes to play chase, tug, and be mischievous!  We also have a 4 year old dog named Luna who loves to watch birds, cuddle and tease Loki.  As a family, we like to spend time together hanging out, playing card games, putting puzzles together, doing escape rooms, supporting each other at sports and music events, and having movie nights.  We also love cheering on the Twins and the Vikings, along with all our Laker teams.  I have lots of favorites, but two of my absolute favorite things are being a mom and teaching.  Here are a few more favorites:

Color:  sage green

Food:  quesadillas or philly cheese steak sandwiches

Snack: cheese and crackers, buttery popcorn, peanuts

Candy: recess peanut butter cups or sticks

Fruit:  raspberries and blueberries – YUM!

Sport:  Vikings football, Twins baseball, and anything my kids are playing!

Book:  too many to list, but Strega Nona is one
