Welcome to 4th Grade!
I would love to introduce myself and welcome you and your student to our 4th grade classroom. I am so excited to be working with you and your child this year! Along with your help, I hope to foster a love of inquiry and exploration in your child throughout our year together. I am so excited to begin this journey with your child!

Throughout the year we will study many fun and new concepts in Reading. We will read a variety of texts and "travel" to some exciting new places. We will be keeping interactive journals that will include all the information needed to study for classroom assessments. Students will have homework for Reading passed out weekly on Friday and due the following Friday, but can be turned in prior to the due date. Math homework will go home Monday-Thursday. Each quarter there will also be a project or presentation for Science and/or Social Studies. More information will be sent home about these projects as the year moves on.
