The inspiration for Lake Life Brewery started with a man named Michael Marshall. Michael, a Business/Engineering Professional, who started home brewing after accepting a challenge to brew the best Pumpkin Ale by some close friends. Special shout out to Diana Medina for initiating the challenge. The Pumpkin Ale was such a big hit that he continued to brew as a hobby. Over the years, this hobby has inspired continued brewing curiosity, self-education, experimentation, and desire to grow. Eventually, it would bring Michael into a larger community of home brewers. He joined the local brewing association and continued to brew what those around him enjoyed. Finally, after persistent comments about taking the brewery to the next level, he built the business plan and started meeting with economic development groups to elevate his brewing hobby into a career.

The rest of the Lake Life Brewery team comes from a myriad of backgrounds: brewing, winery manager, engineering, business and marketing. This team has the skills that will help Lake Life become a successful business, brand, and brewery. Importantly, we love beer with bold flavors and smooth textures that remind you of the great brewing traditions of old. We are ready to work hard to bring those beers to you.

Lake Life Brewery is focused on bold, rustic ales of Europe. These include Kolsch Style ales, Belgian Lagers, and Pilsners to darker varieties such as Irish Reds and Stouts. No matter what future styles, flavors or experiments we test out, these types of beers will remain the heart of our business. We see a continued desire for more beer styles and flavors, and we plan to provide seasonal offerings as well as experimental batches throughout the year.

We are focusing our brews on a European-style platform of ales. We want to bring you rich, flavorful ales with a clean smooth finish like German Weiss Beers and Czech Pilsner Ales. Most recently, the popularity of IPAs has expanded our portfolio of beer choices, which have also been well received.

We want to start the brewery out right, and to do so, we will be taking the extra steps to ensure that the design, layout, and construction will provide those exciting and flavorful beers for all to enjoy. Sanitation is of the utmost importance in creating those high-quality beers and ales you expect. Additionally, we are looking to design the brewery with some quick expansion opportunities to meet the demands of the Local area. All these extras add to our cost, but we feel strongly that they are necessary expenses.
