LA County Parks & Recreation Community Meeting:

Come out to Stephen Sorensen Community Regional Park, 16801 East Avenue P, Lake Los Angeles, CA 93591 on September 22, 2026, from 6:30- 7:30 PM in the Lake Los Angeles Community Gymnasium

Each year, Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation holds a meeting at each park to listen to the community's ideas, suggestions, and commendations for a year of activities and recreation at the parks. They will introduce you to some program leaders, explain improvements and projects, and ask for your suggestions for future planning.

The Lake Los Angeles Parks & Conservation Association is a nonprofit that supports parks on the Antelope Valley east side.

If you are a senior age 60 or more, join the LLA Seniors at the Park for lunch, fun and friendship.

Meals are provided at no charge to seniors 60 years of age or older.

For Seniors ages 59 and younger there is a $5 fee

Donations are accepted but not required.

Call by noon of the previous day to make your meal request for the following week day. 661-948-2320

Hello, we are getting lots of calls from people wondering if the Splash Pad is working. It has been working this year, with a day when the staff called Aquatics and reset it. Sorensen Splash Pad has been very reliable. Sorensen Regional Park is 661-264-1249.

Don't forget Pearblossom Park also has a Splash Pad with an enormous bucket that fills slowly and dumps a lot of water. Pearblossom Park also has very cute horse head squirters.

Everett Martin Pool is open for the season. They also have great play equipment for the kids. 35548 N. 92nd St East, Littlerock, CA 93543 (661) 944-1449.
