Schedule - Semester 1 2021-2022
If there are any behavior concerns, please touch base with Ms. Jablonski (Director of SPED) at 3447 or Mr. Peterson (Dean of Students) at 3499 if the behavior is a safety concern.
If a student asks to come to student services and it seems to be an emergency
1) Call their assigned counselor/Mentor and see if they are available

2) If their counselor isn't available then contact one of the other counselors or mentors to see if they are available
3) If there are not any counselors or mentors available contact Joann Kroeger (3561) or Beci Jablonski (3665) to see if the student can come down
- If a student asks to come down and it is not an emergency let them know they should stop by during passing time to get a pass from the appropriate mentor/counselor or tell them to make an appointment using the link in the student services section of the LUHS website (coming soon and will be emailed to all students). Students do not have to be allowed to come to student services - their main priority is to be in class with you
- If a student provides a pass from a mentor/counselor please sign the pass acknowledging that they checked in with you before allowing them to come down - this should not be happening from academic classes, but could happen from academic enhancement or academic labs
- All students should be in their class to the maximum extent possible. Please do not allow students to come down to student services to "Do Work" if they need help from a counselor/mentor they will provide you with a pass from their counselor/mentor
1st Hour – Pre Algebra - Room 201 (Upstairs at the very end of the math wing)
You will be co-teaching the math class with Mr. Snyder. If you let him know you are there for me he will get you all the information/materials you will need.
2nd Hour – Math Intervention - Room 110
This is a time when the students are working on math skills. They can work on math homework from their math class. Ms. Penny Wahlgren is in the room as a para and can help out with what the students are working on
3rd Hour - Prep - Room 110
This is my prep you may be asked to sub somewhere else in the building.
4th Hour – English – Room 110
I co-teach this class with Mr. Grossman.
We start each day with a Caught Ya (Sentence Correction) A copy is on the board and you will write the sentence on the board. The students will then help you to correct the sentence.
5th Hour - Math Intervention-Room 110
6th Hour - Pre Algebra - Room 110
Students will be working out of the their pink workbooks (usually in the grey basket on the bookshelf by the whiteboard)
7th Hour - Prep Room 110
This is my prep. You may be asked to sub somewhere else in the building.
8th Hour -Resource - Room 164 (Science Wing)
Students will be working on homework from the day. Ms. Mendez is in the room during this period and can help you with the students.
