Your child will bring home a yellow folder & homework planner. I ask that you check these each night as they will be used as daily communication between home and school. Please make sure to initial the planner each night. This lets me know you saw any notes I may have sent and that I have seen anything you may have sent to school.

*If you have a note, snack money or something to send in to school, please label it in a zip loc bag & send it in your child's "yellow folder".

Homework is given Monday-Thursday evenings.

Homework is meant to provide extra practice of a specific skill that has been taught in school. It gives parents/guardians an insight into how their child approaches and completes assignments. It teaches early responsibility. It ties home and school together.

Homework should not take longer than 15- 20 minutes. If an assignment becomes grueling and causes frustration, please stop and jot me a note in the planner. I will then review this particular skill with your child in class the following day!
**If your child receives an "Uh-OH!" note, that means they did not complete the assigned work in the time provided during class time, and it will need to be completed for homework.

You will be able to view your child’s report card using the parent portal. Please be advised that when you create an account, the page will not reflect any grades. When the portal opens for the entire district each end of the marking period, you will be able to view the grades.
