• Requirements: Essay: Why they would be a good fit to receive a scholarship; include transcript and resume

• Criteria: Non-traditional or doesn't have straight As. Must be going into skilled trades at a technical college.   

Citizens Connected

• Requirements: Applications available in folder in guidance office, some online

• Criteria: Parents or guardians are Citizens Connected customers

Academic Excellence Scholarship

Given to the Valedictorian

American Legion

• Requirements: resume, letters of recommendations, essay with intentions after highschool 

• Criteria: Going into military or tech. Must be enlisted or have a parent who is enlisted or a veteran. 

American Red Cross

• Requirements: see counselor for more information; no application needed

• Criteria: must have participated in LCHS blood drives and other LCHS sponsored activities

Carrie Crystal Stuckert Memorial Art

• Requirements: special application, in folder in guidance office

• Criteria: Must be going into the Art field

Cleaves

• Requirements: Resume, letters of recommendation, essay: Give your suggestion for dealing with a societal issue you feel is of greatest importance.

• Criteria: Must be attending a 4 year college

Dixon Initiative

• Requirements: Resume and letters of recommendation and one page statement about your goals: offer proof of a strong work ethic

• Criteria: one scholarship to someone going to college, another to someone not attending school but to help them get a start in life

Flambeau Bassmasters

• Requirements: application, short essay on future plans, transcripts

• Criteria: open to all  

Harley Hattamer Memorial Scholarship

• Requirements: Essay only; Essay addressing how you would make workplace safety a priority. If you were in charge of a factory/workplace, and noticed something unsafe, what would you do to fix it? *do not write about Harley Hattamer specifically

• Criteria: Must be going to college or tech

Judy Teske Memoral Scholarship

• Requirements: Application, essay - special application instruction in folder in guidance office

• Criteria: Preference for graphic design, journalism, liberal arts

Jump River Electric

• Requirements: Specific Application, see guidance office for application

• Criteria: Parents must be customers of Jump River Electric

Ladysmith Federal 

• Requirements: Resume, 2 letters of recommendation and essay: What accomplishment are you most proud of, and conversely, what would you like to "do over."

• Criteria: College or tech, anyone can apply, do not have to be a customer at Ladysmith Federal

Lake Holcombe Improvement Association

• Requirements: Standard with essay: The LHIA is committed to preservation of our natural resources. To lessen the impact on future generations, why is it important today to maintain the fragile ecosystem that provides both aesthetic and recreatinal enjoyment? 

• Criteria: Natural resource major preferred, but could just be furthering education in andy related to biological sciences or DNR, etc

LEO Club

• Requirements: Resume, letters of recommendation and essay: What have you done as an active member to improve the community and what will you do as an adult to improve? 

• Criteria: LEO Club member of one full year. Enrolled and accepted in a secondary educational institution.

FFA

• Requirements: Specific Application, see guidance office for application

• Criteria: must have been a 4 year FFA member

Frank and Susan Huettner

• The first step for interested recipient's is to MAIL a personal request to the Foundation Office at PO Box 57, Cadott, WI 54727  An application is then sent to the student to send out.  

Lee Wright Memorial Scholarship

• General application, essay and letters of recommendation

• Criteria: open to all

Lion's Club

• Open to all going to 2yr or 4yr college

• Includes part online application and also a 200 word essay along with transcripts

Methodist Church

• Requirements: Specific Application, see guidance office for application

• Criteria: 

Letters, Resume and essay: Give your view of the advantages of participating in service or extra curricular activities in high school, as well as reasons you chose those particular activites. 

Gerald Niaberg Scholarship

• Open to those going to college

• Open to those going to college and: Parents must be members of River Country Coop.  Open to all majors, but Agronomy related preferred.

Rutledge Scholarship

• Open to those going to college

Suchla Scholarship

• Awarded even number years to a Holcombe student going to UWEC

Technical Excellence Scholarship

• Awarded based on HEAB criteria to the top ranked technical education concentrator. 

TIP Grant

• Awarded based on need. Special application on their website. Open to all going to college. 

Trevor J. Pierce Scholarship

• Requirements: Specific Application, see guidance office for application

• Criteria: Resume, Letters and essay: Anyone can succeed with work and determination.  How determined are you to succeed in college?  Give examples of your determination.

US Bowling Congress

• Must be going on to college

• Resume, letters and essay: Address the need for physical activity throughout one's life.
