Transformation!

Welcome to the 2016/2017 Annual Report for Lakehead University Libraries.

It has been an exciting year!

• The Chancellor Paterson Library's ground floor was transformed to the International and English Language Centre
• Library technical services staff moved to a renovated space on the 3rd floor of Chancellor Paterson Library
• We are creating a Teaching Commons on the 5th floor of the Chancellor Paterson Library
• We took part in the first Canadian implementation of the MISO Survey
• We are stepping closer to Collaborative Futures - a project that will see us implement the Next Generation Library System together with our OCUL partners
• Weeding of legacy print collections continues.

Tremendous efforts are going into transforming our libraries to a learning space for our faculty, students and staff.
