Athletic Clearance is only allowing me to upload 1 page in the Physical section. How do I upload the 2 page document?
You have 2 options for this:
1) You can now upload each page individually! Take a picture of each page and upload each page under each of the 3 slots available on the Physical upload section.
2) Download the free app CamScanner on your phone/tablet. Open the app and click on the camera icon on the bottom middle. Select "Batch" on the slide choice on the bottom. Take a picture of each page of the document. Click Finish. Edit and rename the document as necessary. Now your EL2 form can be uploaded as 1 document!
Why can't I find Lake Minneola on the list of schools on Athletic Clearance?
You have to go directly to the website: www.athleticclearance.com. If you search for it on Google, it will send you to the site for California schools.
I completed the registration process on Athletic Clearance. Why hasn't my athlete been cleared yet?
Each athlete's file must be individually reviewed by the LMHS Athletic Department in order for them to be cleared. This includes opening and viewing each uploaded document to verify dates and completeness, which is a very time consuming process. You will receive an email from Home Campus stating that your child is cleared once their file has been reviewed and deemed complete.
What is XLNTbrain? Why is my athlete being asked to complete a baseline concussion test?
XLNTbrain is an online concussion test and management program. Features include pre-season baseline neuro-cognitive testing, instructional videos for athletes and parents, a free smartphone app that can be accessed by parents, coaches, and athletic trainers to monitor concussion, a progress tracker, and post-concussion testing. Please visit www.xlntbrain.com for more information.
Lake County requires all student athletes to complete a baseline concussion test prior to their first competition. Please visit the Concussion Testing page for more information.
Does my child need to take the XLNTbrain concussion test every year?
No! Your child only has to take - and pass with valid results - the test once in their time as an athlete at LMHS. So if they take it when they are a freshman, they do not need to take it again the next year, or any year after that.
